worked on several programs (Y2K, Integrated Taxes Assessment Sysrems (ITAS) and the STARS program to transition computer systems from IBM 370 to server-based systems).
Retired in 2014 and enjoying retired life with friends and family.
Married for 51 years to the former Judy Shannon (1968 Whetstone graduate) with two children, Amy (married to Lee Kauderer) and Craig (married to Mindy Lance)
and five grandchildren (Jared, Regan, Braden, Graham and Gracie).
Planning on getting back into flying since my older granddaughter, Regan Kauderer wants to learn to fly and I have all my FAA ratings (Commercial Pilot, Single Engine and Multi-Engine, Instrument and Chief Flight Instructor ratings). Should come in handy when she goes off to college in a couple of years...
Some of the more interesting events in my life were taking my family to Europe (Hamburg, Germany and Amsterdam) on one of my business trips to Lufthansa and KLM in 1990, my one and my only trip around the world in 1991 (with stops in Tokyo,   Bangkok and Karachi and then back home via Paris.
Currently updating our home (built-in 1954) to bring it into the 21st century.
Getting ready to go on another vacation (second one this year) to visit Judy's two sisters (Ashvillle, NC and Atlanta) and then on to Nashville to visit nearby plantations and the Grand Ole Opry)!
