Where have you been? and what have you been doing? - - - family, school, career, pastimes, good times, etc.

I graduated from OSU and was a teacher in the Columbus Public Schools and the Ohio Youth Commission. I then earned a Masters Degree. I joined Buckeye Union Insurance in the late '70's and spent the next 41 years in the insurance industry primarily with Continental Insurance, CNA Financial and most recently Public Service Insurance Company. We moved to the East Coast in early '80's and then to Illinois in mid '90's. I retired in 2018, the same year my wife passed away. It was just before our 38th wedding anniversary. Family includes four children and seven grandchildren.

favorite high school memory

Hanging with friends, football and choir. Does anyone remember "Fa Una Canzona" from one of the citywide contests? Great times!

I was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of an insurance company.

little-known fact

In the late '70's when school systems were laying off hundreds of teachers due to budget cuts, I led seminars at OSU designed to help teachers transition to new careers. As I recall there were several Eastmoor grads who attended the programs.
